What was your health like / your situation like before we started to work together?


     Before I started with the program I was pretty close to hopeless. I have tried many diets and food removal/ supplement additions as well as tried various workouts and stretch routines. For over 20 years I have been looking for help for the continued pain in my whole body and the joint issues that were so severe that sometimes it took full focus just to move a wrist, walk, or move from a standing to sitting or sitting to standing position. I used a lot of aspirin and acetaminophen to get through the work day. Once I became pregnant everything got so much worse and I never recovered after the pregnancy. To make matters worse, I had gained weight and could not get rid of it no matter what I tried. I started pursuing natural remedies, chiropractors, massage therapy and in the end a naturopathic doctor office. Although the supplements and therapies helped reduce issues I could tell it had not solved anything. Each year I lost more mobility to the point that I couldn't work out in the gym, I didn't want to play any sports and even walking while shopping became a huge chore. On top of that, my son had so many health issues that kept me depleted. I looked for help for him over helping myself because he had immediate needs like breathing issues, skin breakouts and severe constipation. I was out of hope and out of money.


How did you feel about this?


      I spent a lot of time crying at night because I felt so guilty that I couldn't play with my child; I felt guilty that I couldn't fix what was wrong with him or myself. I felt like I took up space and was no fun anymore. Everything my son asked me to go do I would have to think if I actually could. He would get so sad because he thought I didn't want to play with him. It looked like I was lazy and selfish but really I had no energy or was in too much pain. The migraines had been reduced by supplements, massage and chiropractic but they weren't gone and too much strain would bring on a migraine that could last days so I was literally scared to do much activity. I kept thinking I am too young to be this messed up. I used to love sports but I couldn't play now which was frustrating. I enrolled my son in martial arts and yet I can't even do a simple gym routine; I felt like a hypocrite and bad parent. I was feeling like life would pass me up and I would accomplish nothing. I was embarrassed; some off-handed comments let me know that even coworkers and friends/family were skeptical how I could possibly be sick or feeling bad AGAIN. I had no logic to argue, no disease or problem to cite that they would understand so I began to withdraw entirely.


What has the process of working with me and Well of Life on this programme been like?


      This program was an eye opener. To know that so many other people have gone through something similar to me was shocking. It was great to know that I was not alone and better yet that people had found answers. There were things I could try. I had questions that no one could answer for years and working one on one with you finally got me answers. The Well of Life Program made my shopping list easy. I could trust how much research went into making each item in the regiment. Coaching was the best part though and it finally broke chains for me because I realized there was a root and for once in my life, someone could see the problem and help me start clearing out the issues that had infested my life. The simple changes I could do quickly were inspiring and then the suggested things that I can do slowly and make as lifestyle changes were brilliant. They made sense. I have had a few setbacks with losing a family member and illness but I don't feel hopeless for the first time. I can tell a noticeable difference and I absolutely know this program helped start that and the coaching is what really got me on a practical path. 


What have you achieved?


      I have less pain and much more energy. I was able to go jump rope with my son the other day; he got a jump rope for Christmas and was excited to try it. For the first time I said yes without thinking twice. I have not jumped in months, maybe even a year and it was not for a series of jumps. But this time I jumped until I tripped up the rope. I can walk without a limp. I have been learning new recipes and ways to change how my family eats. I have hope. 


What else have you achieved?


      I have answers to help my son which is another huge win. I was very concerned for his health. He was showing some of the muscle issues I used to have as a child so I was worried he'd end up broken like me. He also had other inflammatory issues that I was getting a little help for but again I didn't have a root. I was soothing symptoms. Talking with you I finally have some strategies that are simple enough to enact and should make a great difference. Plus the information from the program about how the gut works and how all the other systems correspond is helping me analyze what complaints my son has and how I might be able to fix it. The month of November was the first time my son used the bathroom every day. He would go for days and sometimes a week without a bowel movement. Thanks to a few tweaks to what I had been giving him before, he is finally getting rid of toxins. 10 years of frustration and finally there is progress! 


Anything else that you can think of?


      Honestly, the hope this whole program brings is marvelous. I desperately needed help; to find a safe space to learn about health and happiness without all the extra guilt so many other programs brought was amazing. I have been able to share information to friends and family who are in need. I was so excited to say, hey I have a few links for you to check out. For once I didn't have to say how symptoms were getting worse. For once I could say, I am feeling better and this might help you, too.


Would you recommend this programme to others?


      I would absolutely recommend this to others and have done so. There's something for everyone here. So many of the horrible things occurring to people stem from very simple root issues that do not require pharma meds and complex diagnosis- like the liver being too overburdened by toxins. It might take time to fix but there IS A FIX. There's a CAUSE. The information about the liver alone revolutionized how I thought about my whole body and every issue I've ever had. I had never heard of the liver being so full of toxins that it couldn't function for anyone besides alcoholics. I know many people who suffer from migraines, from joint pain, fat retention, and hair and skin issues. Simply learning the reason why- like not being able to burn/lose fat because the body is protecting itself from toxins, is so helpful. Instead of feeling like a failure for not losing weight on a program, there's hope that maybe it's not a fat thing but a toxin or other system malfunction to look at. We might not need more hours in a gym but maybe more water and more leafy greens. it is a huge relief to realize there was a missing component.


What would you say to someone thinking about working with me and Well of Life?


     What I have been telling others already is that this program has so many easy to understand classes that really help to tailor lifestyle changes as needed for each person. I have learned so much already and still have so much more to learn. This program is not another dietary or workout plan but it gives a deep understanding on WHY and WHAT is happening and HOW to make a change that works for the individual. As for the coaching aspect, I have already told a couple people to consider working with you, Colleen, because you are such a kind and sensible person and a well of information. Things that stumped every doctor I've talked to for decades, you had ideas and suggestions within the hour. I was completely blown away and I knew that with your knowledge you are able to help so many people. Even if it wasn't something you immediately knew you had the humility, grace, and curiosity to ask questions and look into details. It is rare to find someone who cares so much and is humble enough to keep looking and learning. Some people do it for a certificate to add to their wall but I could tell you genuinely enjoy learning and helping people. 


I would say to anyone who wants to better their own life or their family and friend circle, this program has something for you. I look at the body in a completely different way and I was a health minded, active, and aware of what I consumed most of my life. Still this program had information I had never heard of. And for the coaching aspect, it's absolutely the game changer. All the books, notes, and classes in the world don't make up for the several hours of one on one coaching. Trying to problem solve alone with your notes is exhausting and frustrating. I love research but there were things I just wasn't getting figured out alone. Working with Colleen I was able to say what I was doing and what was happening and she was able to give feedback that changed everything. Any person who suffers with a chronic disorder, I would absolutely recommend Colleen. Her patience, kindness, and wisdom are unmatched from any experience I've ever had. I have talked to A LOT of doctors and gone to many places for help. What took me months and years to explain to others, Colleen understood in about half an hour. I am so grateful for this program and Colleen.

Dear Colleen,


Thank you so much for all of your guidance over the four months plus that we met.

I have been working with a nutrition coach for a few years and her guidance has been all or nothing; legalistic. 

It caused a resistance and rebellion in me even though I knew I wanted to make the changes.  

Your demeanor was so kind and encouraging and I knew that you wanted me to feel and be better too.

I also felt that you really educated me on why things needed to change and what difference the changes would make. 

You taught me what I needed to do to replace things that were preventing me from being healthy. 

You gave me achievable goals and adjustments to make that were not too difficult.

When I started I didn't even realize I had issues that were related to nutrition.  I just thought this is how everyone feels.

I am no longer suffering with abdominal bloating, migraines or huge weight swings.

And I don't crave sugar at all. I rarely suffer from fatigue in the afternoon anymore, a huge issue with my Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and lifestyle/work demands.

My life is not very consistent and you helped by giving me ideas of how to accomplish my eating goals within the chaos.

Hello Colleen, 


First, it was our pleasure having you for our wellness coach and working with you was a delight.  However, following your advice was not always a delight, but we eventually gave in and we are glad we did, 


Before we started with the health coaching program with you, Mindy was over weight, had Afib and still does and has moments of short-term memory loss, but she was also struggling with long COVID that eventually affected her heart rate as it slowed down when she slept, as low as 29 bpm.  Eventually she agreed to have a pacemaker implanted to keep her heart rate at 70 bpm.  Once she had her pacemaker she thought her life would change and go back to normal, but that was not the case.  She would try to do the normal activities she was accustomed to doing before she caught COVID but she would get extremely tired only after 30 minutes working with the horses or cleaning the house.  For me, I was overweight and just could not seem to lose the weight.  I also used a CPAP when I slept. 


How did we feel about this?  We both knew we needed to lose weight in order to get some of our energy back and Mindy thought that her being tired all the time would eventually go away after losing weight.  I knew that if I was able to lose enough weight, I probably would not need to use the CPAP any longer. 


What has the process of working with me and Well of Life on this programme been like? Working with you and the Well of Life program has been a eye opener for the both of us. We liked our morning breakfast of fried eggs, waffles and toast.  Sweets for desert after dinner. Well the first month was hard for an old couple to follow, but eventually we gave up the eggs and dairy products, except for a dab of butter once in a while on a backed potato, or a slice of melted cheese on a tortilla.  We did cheat once in a while.  Second month was juicing and we had no juicer.  Two weeks into the third month we bought a juicer and started our day with celery juice.  I actually found it pleasant tasting, but Mindy is finally getting use to it. 


What have we achieved? Since starting our day off with celery juice and fruit a 1/2 hour later, we both have lost about 25 pounds each, our energy levels are up and we feel better. 


What else have you achieved?  We are more active, we sleep better and Mindy can go through the day working with the horses and doing ordinary things around the house without getting tired. 


Anything else that you can think of?  We definitely know that any type of sugar/sweets that we ingest makes us feel tired and run down within minutes of eating any cake, candies, frozen yogurt (my favorite).  My daughter tells me I am addicted to the new frozen yogurt shop in town.  This too is slowly dwindling out of my system.  I am printing out the smoothie recipes you sent me so Mindy and I can quickly drop the frozen yogurt from our diet and enjoy the natural smoothies. 


Would you recommend this programme to others?  YES!!!!!  Mindy talked her Aunt to try it and within the first week she lost 4 pounds, but alas, sh likes socializing and food too much to stick to it.  It was hard for us to give up the things we enjoyed, but once we made the move it became easier and easier every day.  We will get her back on track eventually. 


What would you say to someone thinking about working with me and Well of Life?  We would recommend you in a heart beat and tell them to listen you you and do everything she recommends.  Do not hesitate like we did. Act immediately. 


Colleen, you are a life saver.  We totally enjoyed working with you, listening to your advice was much easier than following it, but once we gave up the bad things to eat we saw a great improvement in our health and energy.  We both thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We both are sad that we will not have the monthly meetings moving forward, but remember you have our number.  We cannot express how much you have helped us.  Thank you!

I am honored to provide feedback.  


When I started my coaching, I was suffering from low energy, not sleeping well and was making bad food choices. I was confused about what to eat, there were so many conflicting stories going around about what was good to eat and what was not. I definitely wasn't sure how to create a plan that worked for me. 


Working with Colleen has been a truly eye opener. She actively listened to my concerns and answered my questions in ways that were understandable to me. She didn't just say eat this and do that without taking into consideration what I like to eat or to do an exercise I didn't like. The healthier eating plan we came up with together was sustainable and didn't leave me hungry. 


I learned about food combinations, and that fruit was so much healthier for me then I was led to believe. I really how she explained why certain food combinations and certain types of food were just not healthy. 


Overall I am feeling so much better and have the confidence I can succeed in obtaining my health goals. This program worked very well for me and would highly recommend it to others needing authentic methods that they can live with as an individual to improve their health.

Colleen Seabell-Dunt has been zoom-coaching me for the last 4 months.   A session every month.


Before starting this coaching, I considered myself healthy and active, although I had had  a long-standing digestive issue for over 20 years, which had begun to have spill-over  effects on other parts of the body.   I had been treating this condition by cutting out all sweet foods including fruit.   This never proved efficacious, but still it seemed to be the best course, since no natural health doctors I tried were able to provide the solution.   


My sessions with Colleen were part of the package I bought in a series of health documentaries put on by Jonathon Otto and his Well of Life company.   


Colleen started suggesting things that were quite simple, but which went against all the protocols I had worked out for myself.  For example, she suggested eating fruit - quite a lot.   And other suggestions, all of which she gave good explanations for, i.e. how the human body and its systems work, particularly the liver.  


As well as adding in various foods, she also suggested cutting out or down on various other foods that are considered very healthy.   


All this has proved very good advice, and my systems are responding well to the new way of eating.   I now, at the age of 81 years, feel I can look forward to 10-15 more years of a life full of quality and activity, better health, not a sedentary life.  And I am more persuaded than ever that we are what we eat!   ‘Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.’ Hippocrates.


For this turn around in my health - quite unexpected - I have everything to thank Colleen for, and I do.    Thank you, Colleen!   You are fount of health knowledge and wisdom.  In light of my success in working with Colleen, I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about seeking advice for health issues.

I had started a Keto Program and my gut didn't like the plan. It caused me constipation and inflammation.

Background: I have been almost 100% vegetarian my whole life.  I have also had periods during which I was vegan.  I can count on one hand the number of times I have eaten meat; I occasionally eat fish now.  So why did I feel below par on the health scale?  That was the reason I jumped at the opportunity to work with a health coach.  As the saying goes, I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.   


I wasn’t sure of what to expect from working with a health coach, but I felt comfortable to bring my questions with me to the first of our four sessions.  I came away with some insights into why I wasn’t feeling in better form, and implementing the suggestions about fats (even healthy fats) made an immediate difference in the way I felt.  Coach Colleen was also generous in sharing healing, nourishing recipes and detox protocols.  These complemented the formulas I had received from Well of Life, with the result that I experienced some gradual normalization of digestive function and an increase in physical energy.


I have achieved a reduction in lower extremity pain, which I attribute to removing long-term toxins from my system.  While my chiropractor’s adjustments addressed misalignments, they never affected the unexplainable pains I had experienced for months if not years.  Some weight loss provided additional benefit.  At the end of the coaching period, I weighed myself and I had lost approximately seven pounds (3 kg).  I don’t consider this a large amount. However, it reverses the trend of incremental weight gain that I have watched with dismay for the last few years. That I find significant. 


In summary, working with health coach Colleen has proved a beneficial experience for me.  She simply and clearly explained processes that had contributed to my poor results, then supplied information, instruction and recipes to address my nutritional needs and, in particular, successful paths to detoxification. Now I feel hopeful about my health and confident about what I need to do in the future. Coach Colleen is lovely to work with, while being encouraging and professional.  I would recommend her without reservation.

 health wasn't really bad, but I was very concerned about my health because I had gotten vaccinated. I noticed that I started feeling pain I never had before. It became difficult for me to walk as my left knee was paining me badly for months. Since I have been working with you I feel very good. My health has definitely improved.  The pain in my knee is 98% gone. I only feel some stiffness in my knee now. My energy levels have improved and I am now sleeping better.

My health is generally ok but within these last 3 years I have found tremendous changes, challenges and discoveries to work through and I appreciate learning about all the advanced discoveries and thinking that has opened up in this ‘new’ world.  


In the beginning I thought the biggest thing was the supplements. I felt good taking them and was surprised I could take a probiotic without cramps and major digestive anomalies so I definitely liked them.  


The suggestions I received from you, Colleen were always given in kindness, though challenging for me at first. I did need to readjust my thoughts about the foods I was eating and considering and first felt frustrated and resistant.  


But I gave it a good try and things were very good, to my delight but not my surprise. I do know that nutrition and fruits and vegetables, along with super foods and specialized supplements and nutritional compounds are amazingly supportive; most often it is my own lifestyle and emotional compensation I am dealing with that I tend to justify and seem to need at certain times to placate my mind and emotions.  


I have been involved in a major transformation over the last 3 years, including moves to different states, trying to navigate the social, health and economic landscapes through c19, and some of this does not allow me to go full out into the things I would normally do for myself in a dedicated consistent way, especially re diet, exercise and sleep. However, I still was finding I was able to bring back balance after weeks of guests visiting and feeding me ‘too’ well. Perhaps there is some emotional balance in that in the interim and I will wean that off as it is increasingly less involved and or needed on either side.  


I appreciate that I learned so much and discovered new ways to support my health, weight, illness solutions and innovative use of discoveries by super intelligent people. 


I am grateful I can see changes when I implement any of these ideas. That is not usually the case for me.  


I highly recommend you Colleen as a health coach, and the more open and advanced someone is on their health and life journey, they will receive even more benefit from your vast knowledge and guidance, as I did.
